Thirsty Magpie Festival

NEVER fear – Thirsty Magpie is back for 2023 – just slightly later than usual and we’re absolutely thrilled to invite you to the tenth edition of our incredible Beer Festival, which takes place from Friday July 28th to Sunday July 30th. The Thirsty Magpie returns in all its glory with plenty of delicious beverages, tasty food, cracking entertainment and this year is set to be better than EVER with various free sampling and competitions across the weekend, AND (fingers crossed) loads of Sunshine. And none of this would be possible without our incredible barrel sponsors.

Entrance to the Festival is just £5.00 for the entire weekend! This year we’ve added online tickets too, or you can just walk up and pay the old fashioned way. For your entrance fee, you’ll also receive a Festival Glass, Programme & 1 Free Token

Remember, your festival glass serves as both your entrance and drinking vessel for the entire weekend, and you get to keep it as a cherished souvenir when you eventually head for home. Treat it like a dear friend—handle it with care and safeguard it throughout your stay!

Thirsty Magpie runs on a token system. To buy beer you must first buy tokens. Tokens can be purchased below online or via the till at  the main entrance where you came in. If you can't find it, you've probably had enough! If you pool with your mates, you save even more money! Once you have your tokens, head for your bar of choice and start sampling the wonderful Craft, Cask & Fruit Beers, German Lagers, Ciders and Vodkas and, thanks to the help of our friends at Bay Drinks, Bens Brewery, and ATH Vodka, this years selection is better than ever and there is something for everyone with Vegan, Gluten Free & Alcohol Free Options.
